Polyjuice Potion

Ingredients
  • Two Leeches
  • Your Size Handful of Knotgrass
  • Half an ounce of lacewing flies.
  • Bicorn Horn
  • One Ounce of Fluxweed.
  • One Boomslang Skin
  • A bit of whomever you wish to turn into.
    i.e. hair strand, fingernail, etc.
Spells and Charms You Will Need
  • Bluebell Flames
Lab Supplies You Will Need
  • Stirring Stick
  • Cauldron
  • Knife
  • Mortor and Pestle
Procedure
There are some things that must be done before you ever begin concocting your potion.
  • Heat your cauldron to 124 degrees celsius, using bluebell flames.
  • Add the lacewing flies.
  • Stew the lacewing flies for twenty one days.
  • Gather your fluxweed on the last full moon before the concoction.
Once these are done, you may begin concocting your polyjuice potion.
  • After the twenty one days have passed, add two full and bloody leeches.
    - Curiously, the blood on which the leeches have feasted does not conflict with the potion.
  • Add a handful of knotgrass.
  • Allow to simmer for three hours.
  • Ground your bicorn horn until it is a fine powder.
  • Slice your fluxweed, creating thin slices.
  • After the three hours is up, add your bicorn powder.
  • Add the fluxweed next.
  • Add the bloomslang skin.
  • Allow potion to simmer until it is ready for use.
  • Just before use, add the bit of whomever you want to turn into before you drink, to ensure that the effects last the full hour.
Other Characteristics of the Potion :
  • Varies in colour, as no two people are the same.
  • Takes nearly a month to brew.
  • One of the thickest potions known to wizard kind.
Difficulty in making the potion :
  • Complications in getting the ingredients: 4/5
  • Perplexity of the potion (how complicated it is to make the potion): 4/5
  • Usefulness of the potion: (for spies) 5/5 (for everyone else) 2/5
**** As this potion takes some time to create, it is often a good idea to form a field trip around gathering the fluxweed.
